H2O Spectrum® -Lite
When more treatment is required to meet your reuse and recycle water treatment goals, use our H2O Spectrum® -Lite technology.
- Our H2O Spectrum® Platform includes a comprehensive inlet water diagnostic stage to find the appropriate H2O Floc™ Chemistry. Primary water treatment technologies are used to achieve necessary retention times and efficient bulk oil and solids handling.
- H2O Spectrum® -Lite consists of removing the impurities targeted chemically through our various Dissolved Air Flotation Systems (DAFs), Multi-method Filtration (MMF) or other field-proven water treatment technologies.
- Water is made ready for hydraulic fracturing reuse on the fly or SWD disposal for efficient gains via SWD disposal.
If the goal is to have the most advanced water treatment for surface discharge, the system automatically directs the water to our H2O Spectrum® +Plus.

H2O Spectrum® -Lite
When more water treatment is required to meet your demanding water reuse and recycle goals, H2O Spectrum® -Lite is a treatment stage from our H2O Spectrum® Platform.
The appropriate chemical pretreatment is used at the beginning of the water treatment process as pre-determined by our analysis stage. This typically includes H2O Floc™ to remove hydrocarbons and solids as well as other targeted impurities prior to the next stage of the process, coupled with a specific oxidant to oxidize metals, and if needed biocide to kill bacteria.

H2O Spectrum® -Lite
Primary Treatment Stage
H2O Spectrum® -Lite uses a very small footprint, is modular for design flexibility, and consumes very little energy.
In the primary treatment stage, the most economical and proven technologies are used including Modified Frac Tanks (MFTs), Above-Ground Storage Tanks (ASTs), or Enhanced Gravity Separators (EGSs).
These technologies provide the necessary retention times for effective chemical activation, flow optimization for bottleneck deterrence, and efficient bulk oil and solids handling.

Secondary Treatment Stage
The secondary stage of H2O Spectrum® -Lite consists of cost-effectively removing the impurities targeted with our H2O Floc™ chemistry in the primary stage.
