H2O Floc™

When “good enough” treatment is required to meet your demanding water treatment goals, use our H2O Floc™ technology:

  1. Our H2O Floc™ water treatment technology includes a diagnostic stage where our field-experienced water engineers & operators analyze the inlet water chemistry and assess your water treatment goals.
  2. As pre-determined in the diagnostic stage, appropriate chemical pretreatment, such as oxidants, biocides, and H2O Floc™, target impurities for subsequent removal in the most effective water treatment technology determined by our water engineers and operators.
  3. Treated flow back and produced water supply is made ready for hydraulic fracturing reuse on the fly.

First Steps

Whether your water treatment needs derive from flowback, produced water, or brackish water, will largely determine the first steps.

Our field-experienced engineers and operators first diagnose the inlet water chemistry. From there, it’s all about your treatment goals which include economic analysis (i.e. is this worth pursuing?) and method of chemical treatment (i.e. floating or dropping, oxidizing, coagulating, biocide and which technology works best).

Next Steps

Floc strength, structure, and reaction time are very important indicators that we measure closely. Intermittent or continuous use is also a key performance indicator; especially in water treatment.

H2O Floc™ excels in each of these key performance parameters.

Once H2O Floc™ is introduced into the process, the science behind the technology does the rest.

The Results

H2O Floc™ makes a very strong floc, which is important as process shear forces can degrade and destroy performance. An effective floc shape and structure ensures maximum performance as the captured impurities separate from the water.

H2O Floc™ reacts, on average, in less than 4 seconds.

The effects of this are staggering. Process equipment footprint is smaller, separation performance is faster, and cost per bbl of water treated is lower. This is industry leading performance.
